The Meon Valley Bus provides public transport services to all residents and visitors within the Meon Valley. Our scheduled service runs on Mondays to Fareham, on Wednesdays to Petersfield and on Fridays to Winchester, picking passengers up at convenient points within the Meon Valley. Passengers are able to spend about 2 hours at the destination town before the return journey.
Everyone is welcome on our scheduled services, including children and dogs (dogs are subject to driver discretion). Please see the Timetable page for details of our scheduled services.
Private Hire
Our minibus has space for 16 passengers and is available for private hire. Organisations such as local schools, charity groups and social groups can hire the bus with a driver for a fixed fee plus a charge per mile. Please see the Private Hire page for further details.
Non-profit and Volunteer Run
The Meon Valley Bus is fully owned and operated by the Meon Valley Community Bus Association (MVCBA), a registered charity. Our service is run by dedicated volunteers from local villages, delivering a friendly, supportive, and welcoming experience to all passengers.
